HTC COURSES

These classes for adults and youth are designed to be instructive and interactive, connecting us to one another over topics relevant to our cultural moment, the arts, the Anglican tradition, the rhythms and challenges of daily life, spiritual formation, and more.

They meet for an hour on Sundays at 1:15 pm before the service, unless otherwise noted. Contact Pastor Todd Pickett for more information.

CURRENT COURSE:

Join us in March for our formational “catechesis” classes –three weeks during which we explore the foundations of our faith. This is also an opportunity for youth and adults to prepare to be confirmed in the faith. Confirmation is the sacrament of mature commitment to the faith.  “Catechism puts it beautifully. When asked, ‘What grace does God give you in confirmation?’ the response is, ‘In confirmation, God strengthens the work of the Holy Spirit in me for his daily increase in my Christian life and ministry’.” Indeed, Bishop Todd or Brian will be coming out in June to lay hands on, anoint, and confirm those seeking confirmation.  For more information on confirmation, see this blog from the Anglican Compass or contact Pastor Todd.
