Readings: Colossians 3:1-4 and Matthew 6:19-24

Visual Reflection Questions

No one can serve two masters…
Matthew 6:24

Set your mind on things above…
Colossians 3:2

  1. A vision of a destination determines how you navigate your car. A vision for your life determines how you steward your money and possessions. In what ways are your God-given resources aligned with the vision and commitments of your life?
  2. The vehicle in the photograph implies a journey. Take a moment to consider: Where do you sense the external or internal forces of your life taking you? Do you feel driven by them or do you feel freedom to explore and excitement to travel new roads with God? What might be God be inviting you to explore?
  3. Notice the “release” sign pictured on the dashboard. Where or in what ways might you release your life, money or possessions to Jesus in open-handedness to move further into the journey God destined for you?
