Reading: Matthew 16:13-19
September 28 Holy Trinity Church celebrates her 5th Anniversary. We’ll have a special service to hear stories of those encouraged by God through the years, to sing songs of gratitude, and to share with each other our hopes for future days.
Our theme for the day is taken from Jesus’ mission found in Matthew 16:18b: “I will build my church.”
Begin the celebration now: Ask yourself “how has God been building me? Building his church through me? Building his church with and through Holy Trinity?
What evidences have I seen or experienced that the “gates of hell can not prevail” against God’s work on earth?
Spend time reflecting and giving thanks! Pray that the good work God is actively doing in all of us will continue for his glory.
“Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done
on earth as it is in heaven.”
